===== Touchsсreen calibration on Linux Ubuntu Mate =====


  * Hide (close) myCNC software to get Mate Desktop {{mycnc:mycnc-touch-screen-calibration-0.png}} {{mycnc:mycnc-touch-screen-calibration-1.png}}
  * open console program (MATE Terminal) {{mycnc:mycnc-touch-screen-calibration-2.png}}
  * type calibration software name in terminal - "xinput_calibrator" and press enter  {{mycnc:mycnc-touch-screen-calibration-3.png}}
  * Calibration software window will appear  
  * Follow the instructions and click 4 points the software will offer you {{mycnc:mycnc-touch-screen-calibration-4.png}}
  * Open File Manager ("operator's Home icon on Desktop), {{mycnc:mycnc-touch-screen-calibration-41.png}}
  * Go to **File System** / **etc** / **X11** / **xorg.conf.d**
  * On the file **99-calibration.conf** click Mouse Right Button and select **Open as Administrator**{{mycnc:mycnc-touch-screen-calibration-6.png}}
  * Copy (replace if already present in) the data from xinput_calibrator to configuration file "99-calibration.conf"{{mycnc:mycnc-touch-screen-calibration-7.png}}{{mycnc:mycnc-touch-screen-calibration-9.png}}
  * Press "Save" button, close Editor window.
  * Restart the computer
  * Notice: you might need to repeat this procedure in case "Swap" option was changed while calibration.
